Faster Application Deployment in Azure AD Application Proxy
Howdy folks,
Im excited to announce you can now use PowerShell to manage deployment of your Azure AD Application Proxy. This will allow you to deploy your on-premises applications more quickly and manage them more easily. For example, we know many of you are deploying tens of Application Proxy applications and want to automate the process. You can now do so with this Powershell release. Using these cmdlets will also help you build and maintain a standardized and predictable process for deploying Application Proxy applications in your environment.
In the words of one of our preview customers:
We love Application Proxy for its simplicity, and the recent PowerShell capabilities have allowed us to greatly streamline and simplify the on-boarding and configuration process for our customers. –Steve Malmgren, Advisory Enterprise Architect, Sage
To try it out by installing the new preview of the AzureAD Powershell module. It includes commands for:
- Creating a new application
- Changing SSO settings for an application
- Assign certificates to applications to enable custom domains
- Assigning a different Connector to an application
- Getting all the Connectors in a specific group
- Most other administrative controls for Azure AD Application Proxy
To learn more about the PowerShell commands and Azure AD Application Proxy, see our documentation.
If you have feedback or feature requests related to this new capability, let us know in the Application Proxy section of our feedback forum, or feel free to email us at aadapfeedback@microsoft.com. We want to hear from you!
