Now available – Azure France Central and France South regions now generally available
Azure regions in France Central and France South are now generally available. Built upon foundational principles of security, privacy, compliance, transparency, and reliability, these new regions offer French organizations a complete cloud infrastructure and platform, as well as familiar productivity and business application tools—where customer data stays resident within France.
France will be one of the first countries in Europe to offer Azure Availability Zones, which provides additional protection against datacenter failures (power, network, cooling). Microsoft designed Availability Zones to give customers great confidence in delivering services with an industry-best, financially-backed, 99.99 percent virtual machines uptime SLA when generally available.
