New Map Control features in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

We have updated the Maps platform for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to make our maps more performant and visually pleasing.  We have also listened the feedback from our users and introduced features such as the ability to import 3D models into the map scene and support for layering and binding of map elements.  In addition, we are making enhancements to our Styling API to allow clients to specify base map styles and visual states for their own map elements.

We have recently released the major refresh to our global map data including the 3D buildings.  As with any data refresh, we expect to discover a few bumps along the way and we are looking forward to your feedback.  Please check out the latest in the Windows Maps app and keep your feedback coming!
