Now available – Azure Search—Better performance and scale features

New paid Azure Search services subscriptions in select regions will be powered by machines with significantly higher performance. For the exact same price, these upgraded Azure Search services have roughly double the compute power of the previous hardware configuration that backed Azure Search. Additionally, services in the standard tier began using SSD storage, compared to HDD storage which was used previously.
